Esta decisión pudo ser tomada para evitar mostrar la residencia de los Prescott, debido a que el rodaje de la cuarta parte de Scream se ha llevado a cabo en un estado diferente al de la primera. La razón por la que se eligieron distintas localizaciones fue económica. Rodar en Michigan es más barato que en Santa Rosa. ¿El problema? Probablemente no encontraron una casa como la de la primera película, y Neil Prescott fue eliminado del guión de Scream 4.
It might be a decision taken to avoid showing the Prescott´s residence, and that´s why the shot of the fourth installment of Scream was in a different country than the first one. The reason why they chose different locations than the first one's because of the money. Shoting in Michigan is cheaper than Santa Rosa. The problem? They probably didn't find a house like the Prescott residence in the first one installment, and Neil Prescott would be definitively deleted from the original Scream 4 script.
