¿Segunda Trilogía Scream?/2nd Scream Trilogy?

Tras las declaraciones de Wes Craven en diversas entrevistas y el silencio de Kevin Williamson... tenemos ciertas dudas acerca de la posibilidad de la segunda trilogia, de la que tanto hablaban Craven y Williamson en los meses de marzo, abril y mayo. No nos queda del todo claro si el proyecto seguirá adelante, cerrando esa nueva trilogía, o si Scream 4 conformará un cuadrilogía junto con las tres originales. Craven ha afirmado que se originó como una trilogía, y también en su momento afirmó que había sido contratado para dirigir las tres, pero ahora mismo no menciona entre sus próximos proyectos Scream 5. Hemos pensado, que tras ver las malas críticas que de momento está recibiendo My Soul To Take, sería muy posible que el director se refugiara en éstas dos próximas secuelas, ya que él podría tener ciertas dificultades a la hora de que le produzcan una nueva pelicula, escrita o dirigida por él, si los resultados de My Soul To Take no terminan de ser buenos. Eso sin olvidar que existe la posibilidad de que Williamson no quiera volver a saber nada de Dimension Films en el futuro.

Fragmento de la entrevista de Mtv:

"The studio wants to be very, very secretive about it. I think it's kind of known that Neve is returning to her hometown for a short visit, and all hell breaks loose. But there's also a whole cast of new characters -- there's some very, very interesting kids. It is or was a planned trilogy. I think the studio is realistic enough to say, let's see how it does. But Kevin Williamson [the series creator and screenwriter] does have an idea for a planned trilogy out of it."

After Wes Craven's statements in interviews and the silence of Kevin Williamson ... have some doubts about the possibility of the second trilogy, of which both Craven and Williamson spoke in the months of March, April and May. We are not entirely clear whether the project will go on, closing the new trilogy, or if Scream 4 settle for a quadrilogy with the original three. Craven said that it originated as a trilogy, and also at the time said he had been hired to run the three, but right now it does not mention among his upcoming projects Scream 5. We thought that after seeing the bad reviews that are currently receiving My Soul To Take It may well be that the director took refuge in these next two sequels, and he may have some difficulties that will produce a new film, written or directed by him, if the results of My Soul To Take still tend to be good. Not to forget that there is the possibility that Williamson did not want to return to hear about Dimension Films in the future.

¿Scream en 3D?/Scream in 3D?

Wes Craven ha sido entrevistado por Eric Walkuski con motivo del estreno de My Soul To Take. En la entrevista se le ha preguntado sobre la posibilidad de reconversión de Scream en 3D. Su respuesta ha sido ambigüa:

It's not happening on SCREAM 4 though, right?

Craven: Well it's a totally different studio, I don't know what their plans are. Way back I had a conversation with Bob Weinstein about it and he said, "Never, we'll never do 3D!" I would bet that he's going through a similar process that I went through, where you suddenly realize that this is coming down the road big time, it's not going away, and you'd better be smart about it, at least weigh your options before you say no.

También, semanas despues del finalizar el rodaje ha sido interrogado acerca la situación de la postproducción de Scream 4. Craven han afirmado que ha estado fuera una semana de viaje con su esposa. Todavía les queda una semana de promoción de My Soul To Take y en cuanto la terminen terminen comenzarán con la postproducción.

So where are you on SCREAM 4? Have you fully delved into editing?

Craven: It's been so recent. My wife and I went up to Massachusetts for a week and I arrived here yesterday, we'll do press for a week and then, right after this film opens, we'll be starting post-production.

Wes Craven has been interviewed by Eric Walkuski for the premiere of My Soul To Take. In the interview he was asked about the possibility of converting 3D Scream. His reply was ambiguous:

Scream 3: Dos Escenas Nunca Vistas/Two Scenes Never Seen

Hay dos escenas nunca vistas en Scream 3 que si aparecen en los distintos trailers y spots. La primera es una imagen de Sidney con una pistola en las manos, escondida tras lo que parece ser uno de los armarios verdes de la cocina de la casa de las montañas. Seguramente la escena en la que Sid recibe la llamada telefónica con la voz de Maureen era mucho más larga, pero se cortó justo despues de que Sidney sacara el arma del cajón y comprobara que no había nadie en la puerta de entrada.

La segunda corresponde a Ghostface. En el trailer podiamos ver a Ghostface en el dormitorio de Maureen, del set de Stab 3, quitandose la sábana blanca que cubría el cadaver de Maureen en la versión cinematográfica. Posteriormente esa secuencia se trasladó a la sala de proyección de John Milton, al final de la pelicula. Y es que el final original tenia lugar en los decorados de Stab 3, en las casas de Casey Becker, Stuart Macher y Sidney Prescott.

There are two scenes not seen in Scream 3, which do appear in the various trailers and commercials. The first is an image of Sydney with a gun in his hand, hidden behind what appears to be one of the green cabinets in the kitchen of the house in the mountains. Surely the scene where Sid gets a phone call with the voice of Maureen was much longer, but was cut right after Sidney removed the gun from the drawer and finds that no one was at the door.

The second corresponds to Ghostface. In the trailer we could see Ghostface in the bedroom of Maureen, the set of Stab 3, remove the white sheet covering the corpse of Maureen in the film version. Later this sequence is moved to the projection room of John Milton, at the end of the movie. And is that the original final was taking place on the set of Stab 3, in the homes of Casey Becker, Stuart Macher and Sidney Prescott.

"It´s Scream, baby"

Según WorstPreviews.com, en una rueda de prensa celebrada ayer, con motivo del inminente estreno de My Soul To Take, Wes Craven contestó de nuevo a la pregunta sobre la posible aparición de Matthew Lillard en Scream 4. Ésta fue su contestación:

"Nuestra intención es No responder nada sobre "Scream," pero solo voy a decirte esto. Matthew estaba filmando otro proyecto en Michigan, donde rodabámos. Él conoce a Neve Campbell muy bien. De modo que vino de visita, y eso es todo".

Con ésto parece cerrada la especulación. Aunque no olvidemos que Wes Craven también negó la posible aparición de Lillard en Scream 2 durante la producción.

¿Volverán Lawrence Hecht y Frances Lee McCain? Esperemos que si.

According WorstPreviews.com in a press conference held yesterday to mark the imminent release of My Soul To Take, Wes Craven again answered the question about the possible appearance of Matthew Lillard Scream 4. This was his reply:

"Our pledge is not to answer any 'Scream' questions, but I'll just tell you. Matthew was shooting something in Michigan where we're shooting. He knows Neve Campbell very well. So he came by to visit and that was that."

With this speculation seems closed. Although not forget that Wes Craven also denied the possible appearance of Lillard in Scream 2 during production.

Will return Lawrence Hecht and Frances Lee McCain? Let's hope so.

Cursed: Guión Original/Original Script

Hemos encontrado en la red el guión original de Cursed. Las secuencias tienen un orden distinto al del resultado final en la película, los dialogos son mucho mejores y los tres personajes principales no tienen lazos de sangre: Vince Winston, Ellie Harper y Jimmy Myers. Pincha sobre el enlace y podrás descargarlo.

Este guión data del año 2003. Ya sabeis que la producción de Cursed fue suspendida y el guión reescrito varias veces porque los hermanos Weinstein no estaban satisfechos con éste ni con los efectos especiales. Una vez reanudada la producción hubo que realizar numerosos cambios, pues muchos actores, como Skeet Ulrich, no podian regresar para seguir rodando, pues tenian otros compromisos. De modo que hubo que rodar de nuevo las escenas buenas con otros actores.

We found in the network original Cursed´s screenplay. The sequences have a different order to the final outcome in the movie, the dialogues are much better and the three main characters have no blood ties: Vince Winston, Ellie Harper and Jimmy Myers. Click on the link and you can download.

This script dating from 2003. You know that Cursed production was suspended and the script rewritten several times because the Weinstein brothers were not satisfied with it or with the specials effects. Upon the resumption of production had to make many changes, as many actors, including Skeet Ulrich, could not return for follow shot, as had other commitments. So we had to roll back the good scenes with other actors.

Fecha de estreno Scream 4/Scream 4 Release Dates (Not confirmed)

Parece ser que en imdb.com ya se han conocido algunas de las fechas de estreno de Scream 4 en diferentes países. En España será el mismo día que en U.S.A, 15 de abril de 2011. Para que no a haya dudas ni acusaciones os avisamos que ésta información no  ha sido ni confirmada ni desmentida. No es intención de Scream Anthology publicar cualquier información encontrada en la red de forma compulsiva.

As tt appears as imdb imdb.com already met some of the release dates for Scream 4 in different countries. In Spain will be the same day in USA, April 15, 2011. In order not to have doubts or accusations I advised that this information has been neither confirmed nor denied. Ni rastro de Scream 4/No sign of Scream 4

Kevin Williamson no solo ha borrado Scream 4 de su cuenta de twitter, también todas las fotos que él fue publicado durante el periodo de escritura del guión de Scream 4. Todas han desaparecido. Solo quedan 26 y todas hacen referencia a The Vampire Diaries. Parece que estamos ante un asunto bastante serio.

Kevin Williamson no just has erased Scream 4 from his twitter account, also all the pictures he was released during the period of writing for Scream 4 script. All gone. There are only 26 and all refer to The Vampire Diaries. It seems that this is a rather serious matter.

Scream Awards 2010

El proximo sabado 16 de octubre se celebrará  la 5ª edición de los premios Spike Tv´s Scream en la ciudad de Los Ángeles. Wes Craven, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts y Hayden Panettiere asistirán para presentar un adelanto de escenas de Scream 4 nunca vistas.

Hace dos años, en la edición de 2008, Neve Campbell entregó el Mastermind  Award a Wes Craven por toda su carrera.


The next Saturday October 16th will be held the 5th edition of Spike TV's Scream Awards in Los Angeles. Wes Craven, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere attend to present a preview of scenes never seen from Scream 4.

Two years ago, in the 2008 edition, Neve Campbell presented an award (Mastermind Award) to Wes Craven for his entire career.

College of Massage & Physical Therapy & became a licensed, certified Massage Therapist.  I worked for the swanky Aida Gray Salon, in Beverly Hills, while I was also in private, mobile practice around the greater L.A. area; while living in Malibu.

Next came the life style choice to move back home to where I lived during my teenage years, Sonoma.  It was here, in Wine Country, that I began another career that would last 12 years in the wine business, always employed at the supplier end, the winery itself.  I worked for Bealieu Vineyards, Sebastiani, Kenwood, Johnson’s Alexander Valley&, lastly, Fritz Cellars, in that chronological order.  I was employed as a Tour Guide, Tasting Room Manager, Marketing Director, Publicist, National Distribution Director & Legal Compliance Manager.  I truly loved this life-style career I lived/worked in.

The Best Western hotel, in Yountville, Napa Valley, hired me next to be their Corporate Business Manager, at theYountville Lodge.   I stayed there a year, while learning that I was never wired to be in a 9-5 corporate office environment. During this time, a friend took a new headshot of me, gave it to 1 of the only 2 Talent Agencies, in S.F. at the time, Grimme Agency, Jimmy Grimme signed me & my acting career was born. 

Meanwhile, 25+/- years later, I’m still acting, but nowadays as a member of the Screen Actors Guild!  My lastest work is MILK as Mayor Moscone’s Secretary! Somewhere in this mix, I wanted to get back to flying so I started working as a Flight Attendant for an airline, Reno Air, that was purchased by AA, 10 years ago! I’m still flying, out of SFO, while acting at every opportunity!

Just look at where I live, in Upcountry Maui, and imagine what type of girl would live here!  You got it...one who loves Mother Maui and all of the creatures in her natural environment!  I prefer outside, instead of inside...all natural, instead of clothed...my skin in the sun & wind, not protected by anything!  I'm a World Traveler and I love the first visit to any place!  The best way for me to learn about my planet and myself is to travel in the world, to very different cultures than the ones I grew up in (Oahu & N. California) and use all of my senses to "know" the culture.

I love islands & scuba diving in warm waters!  I grew up with horses and love the way animals live only in the present moment & are total optimists...people have a lot to learn from them!  My goal: to live each moment as if it were my last!

Jill Roberts

Antes no sabíamos si la madre de Jill (Emma Roberts) era hermana de Neil Prescott o de Maureen. Algunas personas habían comentado que su apellido era Keesler, pero podía ser perfectamente el apellido del marido del personaje de Mary McDonnell. Ahora, hemos podido escuchar, en la entrevista de Neve Campbell de ET Canadá, que "Emma interpreta a Jill ROBERTS, la prima de Sidney".

Bien, existen dos opciones, o Neve Campbell ha confundido el apellido de la actriz con el del personaje o bien Jill conserva el apellido de su madre, que también era el de soltera de Maureen: Roberts.

Before we did not know if the mother of Jill (Emma Roberts) was the sister of Neil or Maureen Prescott. Some people had commented that his name was Keesler, but could well be the name of her husband's character Mary McDonnell. Now, we have heard in the Neve Campbell interview ET Canada that "Emma Roberts plays Jill, Sidney´s  cousin."

Well, there are two options, either Neve Campbell has confused the name of the actress with the character or Jill kept the surname of his mother, who was also the single surname of Maureen: Roberts.
